Print & transfer

SCREEN PRINTING

Screen printing is a process in which the printing ink is printed through a fine-meshed fabric onto the material to be printed using a squeegee. This textile printing process is the highest quality of textile finishing. Screen printing is often used for complex motifs, color gradients and large print runs. Whether cotton bags, T-shirts, sweaters or polo shirts - textile screen printing is the classic among the printing processes.

DTG print

The DTG (direct-to-garment) process is the further development of digital textile printing. No transfer or carrier foil is required anymore, the color is applied directly to your textile.

The principle is similar to that of an inkjet printer, but the DTG uses special textile water colors and adapted print heads. After printing, your textile is fixed in the drying tunnel, just like with screen printing. In contrast to screen printing, there are no upfront costs, since neither films nor templates have to be made.

Any number of colors and gradients can be displayed. The DTG process is suitable for one-offs or small editions. The prints have a very soft feel but are not as durable as real screen prints.

SCREEN PRINTING TRANSFER

You have the option of indirect printing through transfers. The colors of your motif are printed mirror-inverted onto transferable, special silicone paper sheets.

These are then transferred to the textile using a hot pressing process. The same applies to the quality of the prints as to our screen prints: High durability, color brilliance and color fastness, attention to detail and professional quality - on request also in a version that can be boiled up to 95°C.

The coating guarantees permanent adhesion, there is no need for sewing. Screen printing transfers are particularly suitable for very high loads such as work clothing. Also for highly elastic materials, such as e.g. B. Swimwear, special transfers are available.

Flex/Flock

Our flock and flex foils are also processed using the same hot-press process as for screen printing transfers. Your motif is cut out of the desired material using a cutting plotter. The motif can then be applied to different parts of the textile with the help of the transfer press. Flock films have a slightly high-pile surface with tangibly soft fibres.

Flex foil has a smooth, closed surface and looks like a highly opaque screen print. Both materials are slightly flexible, impress with their high durability and color brilliance and are ideal for small runs and individual printing (such as the names of your individual employees).

Restrictions result from a limited color palette and the fact that the desired motif must of course be able to be implemented in this process. Clear geometric shapes that are not too small are a prerequisite. Flex films can be attached inexpensively and quickly. Here, too, it is possible to produce in advance. Flex foils can also be printed as digital transfers.
